Summer Residents Advisory Committee
Minutes of Meeting of August 25, 2006
Present: Roy Sheldon, Bob Buck, Don Edge, Alex Driscoll, Jill MacDonald, Joan McClellen, Bill McGagh, Peter Tarrant and Arnold Trebach.
Also Present: The Honorable Douglas Bohman
1. Stu Smith, Harbormaster, and Dan Tobin, Department of Parks and Recreation, briefed the Committee on issues facing their respective departments.
2. The minutes of the prior meeting were approved as written.
3. Roy Sheldon reported on his and Hugh Moulton's meeting with Wayne Jostrand on the Zoning By-law rewrite. The Committee voted to send its recommendations on the Zoning By-law rewrite to the Board of Selectmen in advance of their next meeting.
4. The Committee approved a cover letter to accompany its recommendations on the Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan to the Board of Selectmen.
5. The Committee discussed adopting goals for 2007. The following were considered:
A. Review and update the Committees and membership on them.
B. Enhance attendance at the Summer Town Meeting.
C. Intensify the search for new members.
6. New Business: Don Edge, next year's Chairman, announced that Jill MacDonald would be Vice Chairman and Arnold Trebach would be Secretary for 2007.
7. The meeting was adjourned at 11:27 AM.
