H2 Hangars – Airport Commission Operated
CURRENTLY ALL AIRPORT COMMISSION OPERATED HANGARS ARE FULLY LEASED
While there are several buildings on the Chatham Municipal Airport property with aircraft hangar space, the Chatham Airport Commission directly manages the H2 Hangars, built in 2000. With the expiration of the original 20-year prepaid leases in 2020, the Airport Commission has resumed management with 5-year lease periods. The CQX Hangar Summary Management Graphic indicates the location of the H2 Hangars as well as indicating other hangar space and their associated management parameters at the airport.
The H2 Hangar Building has twelve (12) units with two (2) primary hanger sizes (42’ and 48’) with some Extended “E” units avaible to fit a range of general aviation aircraft storage needs. Differentiation of the price is based upon aircraft size and additional square footage (if an “E” unit) as noted below:
|H2 Hangar Unit #||1A||2A||3A||4A||5A||6A|
|H2 Hangar Unit #||7A||8A||9A||10A||11A||12A|
Presently, as the demand for H2 Hangar units exceeds avaiblity, please refer to the Commission’s H2 Hangar Waiting List Protocol and Current Wait List information. To review rental terms and requirements please see T-Hangar Lease Agreement and T-Hangar Rules and Regulations.
If you are interested in storing your aircraft in the Commission’s operated hangars, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting to be placed on the “H2 Hangar Units Waiting List”, which can be submitted on a rolling basis throughout out the year.
