CHATHAM ENERGY COMMITTEE PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING
Rising Electric Rates And Ways To Make Homes More Energy Efficient
Chatham Town Offices Annex
261 George Ryder Road, Chatham, MA ~02633
Large Meeting Room
December 2, 2014 - 3:00 PM
In anticipation of significantly rising electric rates this winter and the expectation of higher pricing persisting in New England for the next few winters, the Chatham Energy Committee is sponsoring a Public Information Meeting to provide a forum for citizens on electric rates and ways to make homes more energy efficient. By partnering with the Cape Light Compact’s “Chill Your Bill Campaign” which is aimed at directly assisting consumers in cutting costs and staying warm as energy bills increase, Compact staff will be making a presentation on why electricity prices are increasing and specific actions consumers can take to save energy and money on their bills.
