The Regional Shelter at Nauset High School is no longer able to accept additional guests due to capacity limitations and heating issues.
A shelter at Dennis-Yarmouth High School will open at 8:00 PM this evening. Additional shelter locations are being evaluated.
A regional shelter will open at Nauset Regional High School, 100 Cable Road in Eastham on Sunday, February 22nd at 6:00 pm. Any residents wishing to relocate today, Sunday, may coordinate their own transportation or call the Emergency Operations Center prior to 6:00 pm today at (508) 945-5191 for assistance with arranging transportation.
If you are concerned about your ability to sustain a power outage for up to 72 hours, you are encouraged to relocate to the regional emergency shelter today, in advance of the storm. If you choose to go to the regional shelter, please remember to bring any necessary medications with you.
